Fijian Attorney-General and Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum is expected to deliver his 2021-2022 national budget address this evening.
According to an advisory by the Fijian Parliament Civic Education and Media Unit, the debate for the national budget will be held from July 26 to Jul7 30, 2021.
Parliament sittings will be conducted virtually with Members of Parliament either attending in-person or connecting remotely.
Meanwhile, the access to the parliament complex for the July sittings of Parliament will be limited only to Members of Parliament, authorised Government officials, authorised caucus and Parliament staff with strict adherence to all the COVID-safe measures and protocols in place nationwide.
