A fossil fuel-free future for Lowell?

LOWELL — City councilors unanimously voted Tuesday to move toward a fossil-free future by approving Councilor Wayne Jenness’ motion requesting City Manager Tom Golden send a letter to the state delegation and the Massachusetts School Building Authority urging an update to all funding programs to include and prioritize non-fossil fuel options.
