Bill Wood literally grew up at Arizona State University — not only as an ASU student, but his grandmother, who graduated from Tempe Normal School in 1914, owned a home on a corner of Tempe that's now surrounded by campus buildings. At 74, Wood is still digging around ASU. Only now, he’s dropping down at least 10 feet in dry wells across three campuses to make sure pollutants
