In another edition of KRTVâs effort to highlight News Literacy Week this week, MTNâs Colter Anstaett provides a look at what being a news reporter is like.
Being a news reporter is more than just putting on a suit and tie and jumping in front of a camera.
Step one is to find your stories. That usually entails spending a couple hours every day online checking websites and social media sites.
Step two? Go out get your stories. Talk with people, get the who/what/when/where/why, and how, shoot video to highlight the subject or action.
