Marikina River
Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto announced on Saturday, July 24, that the city has already evacuated 87 families as of 10 a.m. today after Marikina River’s water level reached 16.41 meters, prompting authorities to raise second alarm.
“We are on Red Alert. Moderate to heavy rains expected to continue. Over 600 personnel on emergency duty,” Sotto said in a Facebook post.
The evacuation sites where affected residents were evacuated are as follow:
1. San joaquin Villa Hernandez – 12 families
2. Santolan Ilaya – 26 families
3. Pinagbuhatan Damayan – 18 families
4. Manggahan Teachers Village – 6 families
5. Dela Paz Kalusugan Court – 20 families
6. Maybunga Elementary School Annex – 1 family
7. Manggahan San Lorenzo – 4 families
