750 Girls Graduate After Undergoing Safe Space Mentorship Programme
750 girls have graduated in Dedza after undergoing a 6 months safe space mentorship programme that Malawi Girl Guides Association is implementing with funding from UNFPA.
Through the program, girls have been equipped with relevant skills to enable them make informed decisions about their lives to reduce school dropout rates, early pregnancies, and early marriages.
Speaking during the graduation ceremony Senior Chief Kachindamoto encouraged the girls to focus on their studies so that they can complete their education and be independent in future.
