The Hudson County Vaccine Task Force, overseen by County Executive Tom DeGise and the Hudson Regional Health Commission, has now administered 75 percent of the COVID-19 vaccines supplied late last month.
The Hudson County Vaccine Distribution Center, which opened on Dec. 23, anticipates receiving two additional shipments of the Moderna vaccine in the coming days to continue its efforts to vaccinate all residents and essential workers.
“As we enter into a new phase of the COVID-19 pandemic, now more than ever it’s important for us to invest all of our resources into an efficient and robust vaccination program,” DeGise said. “We will continue to keep Hudson County residents safe, healthy and informed through the remainder of the pandemic and ensure that everyone receives a vaccine in line with the state’s vaccination schedule.”
