7-year-old boy killed in shooting in Riviera Beach

Police say a dispute between neighbors ended in gunfire, a 7-year-old boy dead and his mother in the hospital.
The shooting happened just after midnight on Wednesday at an apartment complex on AC Evans Street, which is just off Silver Beach Road.
At 12:07 a.m., officers responded to a report of gunfire at the complex. When officers arrived, relatives had already started giving aid to the boy and took him to the hospital in a personal vehicle. Police provided an escort.
The unidentified boy, shot multiple times, died at the hospital.
