EBRD President signs agreements to support greening of Cairo, Alexandria and 6th of October City
6th of October City falls under remit of Egypt’s new city planning entity, NUCA
Egypt is signing up to a vision of green and sustainable cities. Under the guidance of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), the country’s new city planning entity, 6th of October City joins Cairo and Alexandria as a member of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’s (EBRD) flagship urban sustainability programme, EBRD Green Cities.
