Devadyuman Krishan Kapila, a resident of Hoshiarpur, has made it to the prestigious India Book of Records at a tender age of six. The little boy won the accolades for recitation of capitals of all the countries of the world in a record time of 2 min and 19 seconds. It also includes all 195 countries of the world recognised by the United Nations. The record title of Devadyuman was confirmed by the India Book of Records on February 18, and the appreciation certificate for the same was issued on March 12.
The India Book of Records is affiliated to the Asia Book of Records and follows Asia Protocol of Records for recognition of records and achievements. Devadyuman is six years of age and has just completed his UKG examination. Devadyuman’s father Dr Manmohan Kapila is a doctor (pediatrician) by profession and his mother Rashmi Sharma is an Additional District and Sessions judge in the judicial services.
