The Drogheda Credit Union has once again pulled out all the stops to help the local Drogheda Alzheimer's group realise their dream of a state of the art centre for the region.
The vision of the Alzheimer's group is where no one goes through dementia alone, and where policies and services respond appropriately to the person with dementia and their carers, at the times they need support.
Drogheda Credit Union is delighted to help with this vision by donating €5,000 towards the new Day Care Centre in Drogheda. Tredagh Lodge has always operated from a temporary facility, and now with local funding they are now able to relocate to a purpose built centre at a site at Greenhills Drogheda, kindly provided by Louth County Council.
