50 years later, Palatine honors three firefighters' ultimate sacrifice

Fifty years ago, three volunteer firefighters lost their lives battling a massive blaze at a department store in downtown Palatine. On Thursday, firefighters past and present joined the community to honor their ultimate sacrifice.
