NEW HAVEN — Qinxuan Pan, charged with the alleged murder of Yale graduate student Kevin Jiang, was arrested Friday in Alabama after being at-large for more than three months and the subject of an international fugitive search.
It was not known Friday whether Pan was being extradited to Connecticut.
James Stossel, deputy chief of the office of public affairs with the U.S. Marshals Service, said Pan was being held at the Montgomery County Detention Center and whether he would be extradited “will not be answered right now, because there are too many variables involved from many different sides.”
