On July 6, 1957, in the courtyard of St. Peter’s Church Woolton, Liverpool, a meeting occurred that would not only change music but the history of western civilization forever. It was on that sunny day that 16-year old John Lennon, after performing with his band The Quarrymen, was introduced to 15-year old Paul McCartney, who lived in the next township over.
