Syracuse, N.Y. — A fourth person has been charged with shooting a man to death and trying to kill a woman last summer on Syracuse’s North Side.
Christopher Ayala-Pizarro, 22, has been indicted by an Onondaga County grand jury for killing Draquan McDonald near Washington Square Park. When he was indicted, Ayala-Pizarro was already in the Onondaga County Justice Center on charges accusing him of firing a gun at a crowd on the Near West Side in May 2020.
