44 sued over Noakhali UP member murder

A case has been filed against 44 people over the murder of union parishad member Rabindra Chandra Das in Noakhali's Hatiya upazila. Char Ishwar Union Parishad Chairman Abdul Halim Azad was also accused in the case, reports our Noakhali correspondent. Meanwhile, police arrested two people -- Azad (34) and Sumon Das (40) -- in connection with the killing, added the OC.
