A driving force in the field of international co-production, the Sunny Side of the Doc pitching sessions will once again unfold online this year during the 32nd edition of the international documentary and narrative experiences market, which is scheduled for 21 to 24 June.
The 42 selected projects hailing from 18 different countries (including Germany, Belgium, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Portugal and the UK) will be pitched across six thematic sessions and will also form the focus of individual professional meetings. It’s worth noting that 72% of the chosen projects are directed or produced by a woman and, in harmony with its #StorytellingMatters editorial line, the Sunny Side of the Doc team has prioritised stories which shake up our world, shatter our convictions and incite us to seek out solutions for the future.
