4-mile stretch of Pacific Highway closed

A nearly 4-mile stretch of Pacific Highway between Woodland and La Center has closed following a mudslide.
Clark County Public Works crews closed the road between Northwest Bratton Road in Woodland and Northwest Bolan Street in La Center. Heavy rains caused a culvert to fail just north of the intersection of Pacific Highway and Northwest Griffith Road in Woodland, according to a news release from the county.
Repairs are expected to take two weeks, but the timeline is weather dependent, according to the county. Drivers who don’t live in the area will need to plan alternative routes in the meantime.
