On Monday, 30 Oklahoma breweries will begin selling “Brewer’s Reunion.”
The light and hazy New England IPA is a collaboration between members of the CBAO.
The name is a way to celebrate the collaboration.
The association director said the members haven’t come together to brew a beer since Oklahoma beer was 3.2% alcohol by volume (ABV).
Brewers Reunion comes in at 6.5% ABV.
The new beer will also serve as a fundraiser for local breweries. Those participating will keep all profits sold in their taprooms.
The CBAO said the more than 50 craft breweries across the state produce 75,000 barrels of beer every year.
