3 men arrested after teenage girls tell police they were sex-trafficked at Nebraska apartment

Two men have been arrested for sex trafficking in Lincoln. According to Lincoln police, officers began investigating in November 2020.Two children, 14 years old and 15 years old, were interviewed and said that two men had been trafficking them for sex at an apartment in the 1600 block of North 56th Street. The 14-year-old also stated that another man had engaged in sex with her for money and drugs and had attempted to traffic her as well.In addition to interviews, police substantiated the allegations with phone records and digital evidence. On Dec. 9, 26-year-old Jose Isreal Hernandez-Rivas was arrested for sex trafficking a minor. On Dec. 21, 32-year-old Luis Vasquez Chiquirin was arrested for sex trafficking a minor. On April 18, 39-year-old Troy Springer was arrested at his residence for sex trafficking a minor and first-degree sexual assault.
