NODAWAY COUNTY—Three people were injured in an accident just after 5:30p.m. Friday in Nodaway County.The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Ford F150 driven by Makenzie M. Cobb, 27, Maryville, was southbound on Hawk Road approaching U.S. 71. The pickup failed to yield to a westbound to westbound 2014 Jeep Cherokee driven by Shoba M. Brown, 74, Maryville, after stopping at the stop sign.The pickup started to turn east and struck the jeep head-on in the eastbound lane of U.S. 71.Three passengers in the jeep were injured. Life-Flight air ambulance transported Bridget A. Brown, 63, Maryville, to Mosaic in St. Joseph. Nodaway County ambulance transported 77-year-old Karen E. Fulton and 81-year-old Richard M. Fulton both of Maryville to Mosaic in St. Joseph. The drivers were not injured. Bridget Brown was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
