Around 10,500 people landed at Dublin Airport last week, Health Minister Stephen Donnelly admitted yesterday.
During a debate on the Government’s legislation on mandatory quarantine for international arrivals, he told the Dáil that between 1,000 and 3,500 people were still arriving in the country every day.

The Government Bill aimed at preventing travellers arriving here bringing COVID and its mutating variants into the country will introduce enforced hotel quarantine for people arriving from a list of 20 ‘red list’ countries. This is expected to come into force in the coming two to three weeks.
