University Health Services (UHS) has reported a continued decrease in positive COVID-19 cases during the fourth week of spring semester testing, March 1-7.
Through March 2, UHS reported a total of nine positive COVID-19 cases, including eight undergraduates, out of 2,126 tests conducted.
Currently, there are 33 BC undergraduates in isolation—25 in University isolation housing and eight recovering at home. A total of 728 undergraduates have recovered and returned to normal activities.
Since testing began on August 16, University Health Services has conducted a total of 219,618 tests of BC community members with 905 positive cases reported. Among the total were 161,643 undergraduate tests with 761 positives. The University’s cumulative positivity rate is 0.4%.
