2nd Navy Seal Pleads Guilty in Death of Logan Melgar

Another member of Navy Seal Team 6 has pleaded guilty for their involvement in the death of Army Staff Sergeant Logan Melgar.
Logan Melgar was a 34-year-old Lubbock native and a graduate of Frenship High School. After graduating in 2001 he later enlisted in the Army in 2012 and worked to become a U.S. Army Green Beret Staff Sergeant.
According to ABC News, while deployed to Bamako, Mali, back in 2017 on a counter-terrorism mission, Melgar died on June 4th during a hazing incident that involved Chief Special Warfare Operator Tony DeDolph putting him in a fatal chokehold.
