2nd Ford-class carrier at Newport News Shipbuilding is 90% complete

Construction on the pre-commissioning unit John F. Kennedy began at HII's Newport News Shipbuilding division in 2011. It is expected to be delivered to the U.S. Navy in summer 2025.
