<p>Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva overcame a shaky start to capture first place in the women's short program Tuesday. The teen phenom, who has been at the center of a doping scandal at the Games, received a score of 82.16 despite stumbling on her opening triple axel to lead Russia. Her teammate Anna Shcherbakova was second. </p><p></p><p>Elsewhere Tuesday, teenage freeskier Eileen Gu, competing for China, secured her second medal of the Games with silver in the women's slopestyle.
