The U.S. Embassy South Africa Public Affairs Section, U.S. Department of State (PAS) is pleased to announce a
2021 South Africa Mandela Washington Fellow Program Logistics.
The grantee will work cooperatively with the Public Affairs Sections in Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town, and Johannesburg to manage the logistics for participants in the 2021 Mandela Washington Fellows (MWF) Program.
The Fellowship provides 700 young leaders from Sub-Saharan Africa with the opportunity to hone their skills at a U.S. college or university with support for professional development after they have returned home.
MWF started in 2014 as a flagship program of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) that empowers young people through academic coursework, leadershiptraining, and networking. The grantee will facilitate the following:
