Today, Moneyfacts has revealed its coveted five and four-star ratings for ethical funds for 2021, making it easier for investors looking for ethical funds to find the best deals.
This year, 25 ethical fund products were awarded a five-star rating, among which were Premier Miton, EdenTree, Liontrust and Jupiter Asset Management. Meanwhile, 11 products have been given a four-star rating.
Commenting on today’s announcement, Lee Tillcock, editor of Investment Life & Pensions at Moneyfacts, said: “The growth within the ethical, sustainable and socially responsible investing (SRI) fund arena is continually evolving to encompass a broader range of approaches, making fund selection a more difficult task. Increasingly coming to the fore in recent years this growth in SRI has been driven by greater awareness of the environmental and financial risks posed by issues such as climate change. The Moneyfacts Ethical Funds Star Ratings highlight the ethical funds that offer the most flexible options and competitive charges, combined with a robust ethical screening policy.”
