James Bruchac is a local author and storyteller who grew up outside of Saratoga Springs in the Adirondack foothills town of Greenfield Center.
A member of the Nulhegan Abenaki Tribe, and eldest son of Abenaki and Adirondack storyteller Joseph Bruchac III, Bruchac grew up immersed in the natural world, storytelling and native culture.
He now travels the world sharing his craft.

1. I have worn many hats over the years. This is one of the first hats I wore as an infant in West Africa. During that time, my father was teaching English and my mother was running the school store at the Keta Secondary school in Accra, Ghana.
