Two men were in critical condition late Wednesday following a shooting in Paterson that left one other person wounded in an area police say is popular with drug dealers and their customers.
Paterson police were called to a report of shots fired shortly after 5 p.m. to the area of Summer Street and Broadway where officers found three city men – ages 37, 38 and 52 – suffering from gunshot wounds, according to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and city Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora.
They were all taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson. The 52-year-old and 38-year-old were both in critical condition Wednesday night, Valdes said.
