2 former Anderson Detention Center employees charged in inmate's death

Two former Anderson County Detention Center employees have been arrested and charged by the State Law Enforcement Division in the death of an inmate in October of 2020, according to the Anderson County Sheriff's Office and SLED. 
Milton Brady Wilson, 28, and Chancelor Stephen Lee Saxton, 26, were each charged with involuntary manslaughter, along with misconduct in office, according to warrants. They have been booked into the Abbeville County Detention Center.
Robert Dale Robertson, 55, of Easley, was being booked into jail Oct. 17 when he "suffered cardiac arrest after sustaining a fall," Anderson County Deputy Coroner Don McCown said in an October 2020 Independent-Mail article.
