The Ministry of Health (MOH) announced on Sunday morning that new coronavirus illnesses had been connected to more markets and food centres in Singapore (18 July) — the total now stands at 14 food and market centres as well as Jurong Fishery Port with COVID-19 links in July.
In particular,
Chong Boon Market and Food Centre, Hong Lim Market and Food Centre and
75 Lorong 5 Toa Payoh Food Centre will be closed for deep cleaning. Relevant cleaning dates can be found below.
In order to prevent further transmissions, the affected food and market centres will undergo thorough cleaning and disinfection while all workers will be tested for COVID-19.
