​The Speaker of Council, Cllr Nonceba Molwele, hosted the first hybrid IDP meeting for Region A in Rabie Ridge Hall on Saturday, 17 April 2021.
More than 100 community members joined the meeting virtually while the Rabie Ridge Hall hosted less than 50% of its capacity as required by the adjusted Level 1 Lock-down regulations for strict adherence to all Covid-19 public health and containment requirements, particularly those relating to gatherings and social distancing.
Cllr Molwele was accompanied by Members of the Mayoral Committee (MMC) for Economic Development, Cllr Lawrence Khoza, who is also MMC deployed to oversee Region A, MMC for Development Planning, Cllr Thapelo Amad, and Regional Director Abigail Ndlovu.
