Evidence: The Nissan truck that Lee McKnight's killers used to transport him in.
The criminal who organised the murder of Carlisle man Lee McKnight was a "prolific dealer", generating £500,000 a year from selling drugs, a senior prosecutor has revealed.
Jamie Davison, 26 - reputedly referred to by associates as "Mr Carlisle" - organised the severe beating that ultimately led to Mr McKnight's death.
Under pressure to hand over cash to higher-level dealers in the North East, Davison arranged for Mr McKnight to be "lured" to the terraced house in Charles Street where, with the help of Arron Graham, 26, and Jamie Lee Roberts, then 17, they subjected him to a two-hour 'torture beating'.
