WEATHER: ‘The first step back to normality’ - Town’s biggest beer garden proves a major hit
Glorious weather helped an improvised beer garden set up at the home ground of Barrow Raiders enjoy a bumper first weekend.
The site at Craven Park in Barrow was bustling on April 17 Saturday as friends and family members relaxed in the sunshine following the relaxation of coronavirus restrictions.
The club organised the beer garden as an extra source of income following a year disrupted by the pandemic which saw their last season curtailed.
Duncan Mills said: “Works while the sun is shining and there is no indoor drinking.”
