Rosanna Anderson appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court
A MUM-OF-SIX who was gifted nearly £3,000 by her local community to buy a specially designed helmet for her baby son has been jailed after admitting claiming six years' worth of benefits she was not entitled to.
Rosanna Anderson wrongly claimed more than £50,000 after failing to inform the Department for Work and Pensions she was living with her then-partner in the family home.
Anderson, who has six children and is step-mum to one, claimed the excess child tax credits payments while living with her former partner Stuart McTaggart at a house in Tranent.
