Badsey businesses help raise £1,500 for Midlands Air Ambulance

BUSINESSES in the Badsey area have raised £1,500 for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
Laura Penfold and her partner Graham, who run the Round of Gras pub in Badsey, started holding small raffles during lockdown to give local businesses a boost.
Laura said: “We started holding raffles during the first lockdown and they proved very popular so we wanted to try and help local businesses that might be struggling.
“The first local business support raffle we held worked really well and some businesses wanted to donate the cost of their product to a good cause, so we chose the Midlands Air Ambulance.
