THIEF: Lewis Wroe
A THIEF who stole over £20,000 from a Bury business where he was an employee has failed to get the terms of his curfew lifted.
Lewis Wroe, 26, began working as an apprentice at Blacks Business Brokers in 2013 and rose quickly to become office manager.
But between February and April 2019 he carried out 24 transactions with people who owed the company money persuading them to send the money to him instead.
In December last year, Wroe, formerly of Tottington, but now of Claremont Road, Folkestone, was handed a 15-month suspended prison sentence, with 15 days of rehabilitation activities and a six-month curfew after he pleaded guilty to theft charges.
