Putting a smile on traders’ faces is a piece of cake – or rather a homemade mince pie – for one caring team.
While Covid put a stop to their annual coffee morning, Cockermouth Scouts didn’t let anything stop them brightening the town’s mood, and took to the town’s Main Street and beyond to deliver goodies to all.
“The Scout Group Christmas coffee morning and deliveries has been running for over 20 years, and is part of the calendar of our town,” group Scout leader, Steve Dawson, said.
“So we were determined to find a safe and appropriate way to complete our coffee and mince pies deliveries, and keep the tradition going.”
