MORE than £10,000 has been awarded to three good causes looking to provide additional support people in mid Cheshire through the pandemic.
Assura, which runs Dene Drive Primary Care Centre in Winsford, has announced the first organisations that have been successful in bidding for a slice of its new Community Fund.
The fund was created to support charities looking to improve the health and wellbeing of people in the areas surrounding its medical centres.
For services supporting Winsford residents Assura has awarded £4,600 to Transformation for Veterans, £3,919 to Motherwell and £2,466 to the Neuromuscular Centre.
