New COVID-19 cases in Brantford and Brant County took a huge drop on Tuesday.
The Brant County Health Unit on Tuesday reported 11 new cases in the previous 24 hours, down from 26 on Monday and 17 on Sunday.

Active cases also declined to 132 on Tuesday from 141 on Monday.
The vaccination effort in the area remains strong with 69,488 doses of the vaccine administered as of Tuesday. That’s an increase of 1,000 from Monday.
A total of 5,342 people have completed their vaccination series.
The Ontario government announced that, starting on Tuesday, all adults will be eligible to book their COVID-19 vaccine through the province’s website. Anyone turning 18 or older this year is eligible.
