The Indian government has revealed that 11 ministries are yet to finalize sector-specific accessibility guidelines for disabled people. The report, presented to the parliamentary standing committee on social justice and empowerment, showed that of the 20 departments entrusted with formulating sector-specific accessibility guidelines, only nine have done so.
