LIVERPOOL, England: A 108 year-old menu has been discovered by workers who were renovating a cafe in England.
While working on the interior of the Leaf tea room in Liverpool, workers stumbled upon a 1913 menu from Yamen Cafe and Tea Rooms, which was found in the building's rafters, according to current owner Natalie Haywood.
The menu is dated Jan. 15, 1913.
Also found was a waiter's hat embroidered with the word "Yaman" and instructions for playing a card game called "whist and bottles."
"Down came fluttering from the ceiling this menu from 108 years ago. It's in absolutely unbelievable condition," said Haywood, as reported by CNN.
