10 death sentences lead to renewed calls for Myanmar to end death penalty

The Myanmar military junta should immediately commute the death sentences recently handed down against 10 prisoners and impose a moratorium on the death penalty with the aim of abolishing capital punishment in the country, said Human Rights Watch and the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP).
