Elsmere police investigate apparent homicide at Metro by T-Mobile store Saturday

Elsmere police are investigating after a 28-year-old woman was killed inside the Metro by T-Mobile store on Kirkwood Highway on Saturday afternoon.
The manager of the store, who asked not to be identified, said her employee was found dead in the store.
Elsmere Police Chief Laura Giles confirmed officers found the woman dead in the basement of the store. She said officers responded to a call for a burglary and when they arrived at the store, they found the cash drawer empty, then found the woman's body.
