The pair of decorated stone coffins, which researchers believe likely belonged to “high-status” individuals, were uncovered years ago but then forgotten, say veteran park workers.

(February 18, 2021 / JNS) Two sarcophagi dating from the Roman period have been rediscovered at the Ramat Gan Safari Park during the construction of a veterinary hospital, the Israel Antiquities Authority announced on Thursday.
