Mayor Joseph Evangelista said Monday that the program, aptly dubbed "ResBUSkuna," utilized the mobile vaccination bus stationed at the town center along the Davao-Cotabato national road from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. "All residents belonging to the A1 (health front-liners), A2 (senior citizens), and A3 (persons with comorbidities) categories were also served with jabs against coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19)," he said. In availing the services, he said residents were required to present either their local quick response (QR) code or Covid-19 Contact Tracing System (CCTS) card or QR Code to healthcare workers, while persons with comorbidities were required to bring their medical certificates. "Same procedures were observed in tents installed nearby to cater to all walk-in residents who wish to get vaccinated", he said. He said the tents also served as the waiting and screening area with two inoculation teams set up just beside the bus. Monitoring of residents who just finished their vaccination was done at another set of tents not far from the bus. The latest data from the city Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) showed that 27, 714 residents here have been inoculated so far from the eligible target population of 49,189 residents from the A1 to A4 categories. Of the number, 4,915 belonged to the A1 category; A2 (8,684); A3 (13,428); and A4 (687). The same IATF records indicated that the city has 110 active Covid-19 cases with 102 cumulative deaths since the start of the pandemic in March last year. (PNA) }
