$91,065 raised in annual Turkey Drive
Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce wrapped up its annual Turkey Drive today and this years’ total has far exceeded targets reaching over $91,065 at the conclusion of the annual fundraiser, which was extended to one week this year.
All money raised from the campaign is divided between the Cranbrook Food Bank and Salvation Army. The annual campaign provides necessary funding to extend community food security programs through the holiday season and into the new year.
This year’s event looked a little different than it has in the past. The event, which traditionally takes place over just one day, was extended to a week, with a new online option for donating.
