Although imposing public gatherings of more than 5 people under the section of 144, there are anti-coup mass protests still happening in downtown Yangon, also in Manday around this noon of Feb 9. 
It is reported that about 30 protesters and the DVB’s correspondent have been arrested at around 11:30 am today during the anti-coup demonstration in Mandalay, after that at around 12:30 pm DVB correspondent was released. 
A ban on public gatherings of more than 5 people, delivering speeches, protesting, along with rioting by vehicles or in person, and a 8pm-4pm curfew  was imposed under section 144 of the Penal Code have been issued in 44 townships of Yangon (except Coco Island), Mandalay, Naypyidaw and other states and regions on Feb 9.
