Trial: The jury has seen video taped police interviews with with both alleged rape victims
A THIRTEEN-year-old girl told a police officer she felt scared as the man accused of raping her took her into a bedroom of a house in Carlisle.
The teenager spoke of her fear to an officer interviewing her about events in Harraby on January 20, 2018, saying the man who took her to the room had taken advantage of her while she was drunk and “forced himself” on her.
A Carlisle Crown Court jury heard the teenager make the claims in a recorded police interview as she gave her account of what happened when she and her friend were allegedly raped by James Andrew Nelson, 35, and 37-year-old Arran William Toal.
